Courtney Currin

~ Principal ~

In May of 2004, I graduated from Meredith College from the Teaching Fellows and Honors programs with a Bachelor of Arts in English. At that time, I also earned licensure in English 9-12. I came to Granville County that same year as an English teacher at J.F. Webb High School, where I remained until July 2012 when I went to Northern Granville as an administration intern and assistant principal. In the spring semester of 2010, I began graduate work at North Carolina State University. In December 2012, I graduated from that program with my Master's of School Administration.

I have enjoyed beginning a new chapter in my career here at Butner-Stem Elementary School. The community and faculty have been wonderful this year. I look forward to continuing to work with staff, students, and parents in order to help students achieve.

Please contact me if you have any questions.
